I spoke with a representative on Friday concerning a refund on a returned item. I had made two payments. on the item and when returned felt that my refund of $40.00 would be forthcoming. I have had much difficulty with this company and working with them has been awful. I still feel that I'm due a refund. I have also requested that this acct. be closed permanently and immediately. The booties I purchased from Monroe and Main were already over priced. They had increased the price by $10.00 from the last time I purchased them. The boots started peeling all over so I decided to purchased them again. They charged me $59.99 PLUS $13.99 shipping and handling! I returned them because they didn't fit. When I called customer service to confirm the refund amount I was told they were refunding thefull amount I paid including the shipping and handling. But when I later checked my account they didn't refund me the shipping and handling cost. That's a rip off! If customers return a product to a company they're supposed to be refunded the full amount they paid, including shipping and handing. When I called Customer Service the representative rudely told me that customers pay shipping and handling costs on both ends...to have items sent to them and returned to Monroe and Main. So regardless, their company makes money off of their customers that purchase or return their products. Distasteful under-handed practice. I

I have purchased several clothing item from Monroe And Main and have found the clothing to be of better quality than several other catalog companies! Prices are a little high but as I said the quality of the clothing is much better than others carrying like items. Happy

This Company which I've never heard of has been sending me bills and threatening that if I don't pay, my credit score will be ruined. Does not say what the bill is for or any other detailed information. They also keep harassing me with phone calls and voice messages. Beware of Monroe and Main!

CUSTOMER CREDIT FRAUD STAY AWAY

I have never done business with Monroe and Main. They sent me an unauthorized shipment of shoes which alerted me to an Identity Theft problem. I telephoned the company and reported the problem. Their fraud department said I gave my information (SS and birthdate) to someone online who used it to create a credit plan with their company. This is not ture. I never give my entire SS number except to federal agencies. They indicated that they would need to send me a form to fill out via parcel post before they would remedy the situation but in the meantime I should send back the shoes. Their idea of remediation was to clear the false account with the credit bureau. This does not sound correct. I have filed an Identity Theft complaint against M&M with the Federal Trade Commission. After researching M&M , they appear to be an online business that lures customers into creating a credit plan with many problems attached. There have been so many complaints it looks like the company will be investigated for fraud.

Tbe same thing just happened to me. They never mailed me a fraud packet to file a police report nor did they sent a letter for my records.

They said I should not worry. The hard inquiry for that acct fraudulently opened and used never came off my credit report.

I will be notifying the authorities after waiting several months. These accts may be like Wells Fargo (inside job).

Returns are not processed consistently. The more expensive the item, the longer the return takes. And they say you can track the item, but the return FedEx number provided by Monroe & Main can never be found when trying to track the item.

Lousy customer service

Tried to pay bill; kept being told account was blocked. Transferred to different customer service. One more payment and my account will be closed permanently. Just threw my latest catalogue into the garbage. Terrible company!!!

I got in a magizine saying your approved for a little 400 that is all a order two pairs and pants and tennis shoes place the order they come back with oh yea you need to make a depoist so this high price clothes i dont even get to see and they want a depoist nope i can go else where they ripe me off running my credit again just to swnd email later saying dwpoist needed

Fraud account created

Same thing happened to me! There was a fraudulent account set up in my name.

They sent me an unauthorized shipment and claimed I ordered it when I was out of the country without WiFi.

I shipped the order back to them and asked them to close the account and clear the charges. One week later, I received a second unauthorized package that was “ordered” on the day I asked for my fake account to be closed.

I’ve spent over an hour with them on the phone. What a waste of my time.

I will be notifying the authorities of this.

The same thing happened to me. I have not communicated with them at all after learning it's a scam.

I have been receiving bills from them of various amounts.

Just bills; no description of what was purchased or when. I will not contact them at all.

Bad Service

Was given a 8:30 appointment for a front end alignment, was called at 1:30 and told nothing had been done and because I needed my car by 3 to pick my kids up from school I could come and get my car that was there since my 8:30 appointment without being touched for a service that takes 1 hour and bring it back. Ridiculous!!!!!!

I’ve spent over a 1000. In the last few years and I found that the clothes are made very cheap.. they don’t last at all plus they look good in the magazine but when you get anything from them they never fit right, if you people would lower your price and make more things out of cotton you might get more business, there’s a couple of shirts and shoes I want but your over priced..

Please do not order from this company. They charge you extremely too much to returned items. I purchased $385.00 worth of merchandise. I had to return three pieces. I kept two items which total about $112.00. Monroe and Main charged me about $52.00 additionally on to the two items I kept. In addition, after receiving my email stating that the returns were received, they had recorded returns of items that I had kept and not the ones that were returned. I do not know what to think about that. I told Monroe and Main to cancel my credit with their company. I was already doubtful about ordering anyways from previous reviews. I gave them the benefit of the doubt...BIG MISTAKE!!!!
