I placed an order for 2 pairs of Clarks sandals at the very beginning of June 2014. Advised shoes would take a little longer to ship than usual.....okay, fine. 2 weeks later, I receive an email stating that the shoes will not be shipped until almost the middle of July! Seriously? I am not willing to wait that long, so I log on to my account with Monroe and Main and cancel my order, and I receive email confirmation that my order has been cancelled. Great...end of story, right? Wrong! Fast forward to the very beginning if July, when these freaking shoes appear on my doorstep. I am perplexed, because this order had been cancelled weeks prior. I wantbto send the shoes back, but not at my expense, as this was not my error. I email Monroe and Main customer service, and I am advised that they will send me an email, with a scanable code embedded in it, and all I have to do is take the email to Fedex, who will scan it and print out the authorized prepaid return label. No such luck! I went to 4 different Fedex locations, and none of them could retrieve the label from the email. I am told by Fedex, that they have this issue with this company alot. Great.....lucky me. I contact customer service AGAIN who apologizes and says they will send out return labels to me in the mail. Today is August 2, 2014, and I still have not received the return labels. I have had to make a payment on these shoes, to prevent negative credit reporting. I have sent additional emails advising the I have contacted the home office for Monroe and Main by registered letter, email, and phone. I have advised that if my issue is nit resolved immediately (and intelligently), that I will bring legal action. I AM BEYOND BEING A PISSED OFF CONSUMER!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
